A co-operation between Algeria and the Arab World. yellow. design studio was chosen to represent Egypt amongst other Arab designers from Algeria, Tunis, Morocco and Iraq. Designers were asked to inspire from the City of Bridges and come up with the aid of their unique backgrounds, influenced by their own views, to use copper and help it shine as a material. The goal of the project is to use the talents of the craftsmen in Algeria, to utilise their skills through new designs.
The designs are then to be produced in Algeria, and exhibited as part the year long event: Constantine, the Capital of Arab culture, to revive the coppersmiths in Constantine, Algeria.
